Easy Eats
Sometimes you just want a really solid place to grab a quick bite - no dressing up, no putting your face on, no fuss required. Just comfy clothes, maybe a messy bun and a craving to satisfy. Whether you're after something warm and hearty, fresh and light or downright indulgent, these spots are the ones that never let you down. Quick, easy and always hit the spot.
Monstrella, Wembley
Monstrella is hands down the best pizza in Perth. With my husband being coeliac, it is so hard for him to find a really good pizza and Monstrella does not disappoint. The casual dining space means you can rock up after a day at City Beach and enjoy one of their many yummy pizzas or grab one to takeaway and watch the sunset - both witch we have done on many occasion. Or dress up and meet friends, it really is welcoming of any vibe. A firm favourite!
Poktopia, Northbridge
Craving a little goodness in a bowl? Definitely head to Poketopia, where you can choose a prepared bowl off their menu or simply create your own. Newly opened this year, it's no wonder it's already a popular spot in Northbridge, they serve fresh ingredients daily. Their addition of mango to the bowls during summer was one of my favourites.
Suppa Club, Myaree
Winter in Perth has me craving a really good bowl of soup and Suppa Club does not disappoint. This small but mighty little shop, tucked in the middle of an industrial park, is a local favourite, with many of the soups selling out by lunchtime. All six daily soups are GF, but the sides of bread and croutons are not, which wasn't a big deal for my husband as he was more interested in the soup. That said, the croutons were elite, so definitely try them if you can. You can also purchase jars of soup to take home, bring on camping trips etc which is a real bonus.
Bagel O, Subiaco
Sometimes all you really need is a really good bagel with a tasty filling and Bagel O hits the spot every time. Their Miso Shrooms option is so yummy!
Rojiura Curry SAMURAI, City
On a miserable, wet Sunday recently, my husband suggested we try a Japanese soup place and I honestly wasn't sure what to expect. But the flavours blew me away, they were so incredibly tasty. What makes it fun is that you build your own soup step by step: choosing your ingredients, broth, spice level and extras along the way. If you go, don't skip the fried garlic broccoli as a side, it's delicious! Everything on the menu is 100% gluten free too and we will most definitely be back.
